How do I make a document into a PDF? Adobe Acrobat Reader is used to read PDF documents in your browser. Now you can make PDF documents for free with the Cute PDF Writer.
Visit this PDF writer page to download two files: the writer and the converter. Save both these files to your desktop.
Double-click on the writer file that you downloaded and follow any instructions. Then, important!, double-click on the converter file you downloaded and follow the instructions.
Now do a test: create a document in any program (for example, Microsoft Word). You will not Save As... but rather Print... into a PDF. Click the menu File...Print and select CutePDF Writer as your printer. Follow the instructions to tell it where to save the new PDF file, and what to call it.
